Every year I've tried to pick a few college sleepers.  By sleepers I mean teams I think will win two or three more than all the 'experts' had pegged at the start of the year.

The first is Navy.  I think that option offense is going to cause more than a few teams trouble.  With their athletes they run it as good or better than Culpepper did at Central Florida.

Next is Purdue.  That's not an emotional pick, just an observation.  The offense is much better than what the media would have you believe and the D only needs a couple tweaks to make big strides.

Mississippi State.  45 points from that squad is like Florida scoring 100.  And speaking of Florida guess who's former offensive coordinator brought his spread offense to Starkville?

Missou.  Rebuilding?  I don't think so.  Blaine Gabbert is the real deal.  Look for him to be in NYC when it comes time for the Heisman presentation.  I'm not gonna say he's the winner but he will make the podium.
